An Open Letter to the World

from 0.2% of humanity who have had enough

We’ve had enough of your bigotry, your hate, and your persecution. After October 7, you celebrated our murder, and you continue to call for more. Enough! We’re not interested in your morally depraved self-righteousness and insane accusations.

No, “resistance by any means” is not justified. No, there is not an “ongoing genocide” in Gaza. No, Jews did not swarm in from Poland to steal land from indigenous Palestinians. And no, IDF service dogs are not trained to rape elderly Palestinian women. Just save your bullshit.

All of it.

No, today we present you with our list of demands. Meet these demands and your societies will be enriched and will prosper from the contributions of Jews. How, you say? Well, start by clicking HERE. Maybe it will open your eyes a little. Reject these demands and witness your future in the societies that turned against Jews.

Time and again, agents of destruction – demagogues, opportunists, autocrats, and ideologues – express themselves first in the hatred and vilification of Jews. But they never stop there. Their true ambitions are always larger. One thing that Alexander III, Hitler, Arafat, Nasrallah, and Sinwar all had in common is that they led their people to nothingness and ruin.

We see the turn against Jews metastasizing yet again. And what roles have been chosen by the Democratic Party in the United States, by Keir Starmer’s Labour Party in the UK, by Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance Party in France, by Mark Carney’s Liberal Party of Canada, by Anthony Albanese’s Australian Labor Party, and by so many others?

They have all chosen complicity in the othering and blaming of Jews, inaction in addressing the exclusion of Jews from the institutional structures that support their societies, cowardice in the face of growing hatred and persecution of Jews, politically expedient condemnations of Israel, kow-towing to manipulative claims of Islamophobia, and indifference to the safety of their Jewish citizens.

Across much of the West, the ground is being made fertile. Not for prosperity or safety but for persecution, demagoguery, and destructive ideologies. What grows from that soil is disaster, not just for Jews but for all members of those societies.

Enough! We leave it to you to learn history and understand these dynamics that have been repeated so often, if you can muster the seriousness of mind to do so.

Now, to our final demands.

FIRST, we demand equal treatment by the media.

An unending flood of lies from the Gaza Health Ministry (Hamas) and Gazan journalists (Hamas) are breathlessly reported by Western media. Every lie is immediately presented as truth.

IDF soldiers raping Palestinian women at the Shifa Hospital. Israel using banned white phosphorous shells in Gaza. And, of course, the endless articles proclaiming genocide, mass starvation, indiscriminate bombing, collective punishment, targeting of civilians, targeting of aid workers, and more.

And, oh, the New York Times. A cover story showing an emaciated little boy as a victim of starvation. Of course, it was another lie. The child suffers from cerebral palsy. As if that fundamental deception weren’t enough, the Times was careful not to tell you who else was at their photo shoot, the sick little boy’s well-fed brother.

Even after this deceit was exposed, the Times’ retraction was published only on a social media account with 89,000 followers (@NYTimesPR), while the original was published on its main account with 55 million followers (@NYT), as well as on the front page of its newspaper, which has a circulation of 12 million!

When Hamas released images of Israeli hostages Rom Braslavsky and Evyatar David, whom it had horrifically starved in captivity for over 660 days, most Western media breezed on by, hardly mentioning it. Nope, not front page news. Actual starvation. Not alleged. Not cerebral palsy. Intentional starvation, torture by evil kidnappers.

Take heed! A media that will betray its responsibility to truth and objectivity will poison far more than just the public opinion of Jews.

SECOND, we demand equal treatment by the United Nations.

Let’s start with basic facts. Israel is a democracy. In Israel, the rule of law applies equally to every citizen, from heads of government to every religious or ethnic minority. Israel has never engaged in military conflict except in self-defense. Israel does not cancel elections or murder dissidents or torture prisoners or persecute minorities.

Yet, the United Nations General Assembly has adopted 173 resolutions condemning Israel. And the Human Rights Council of the UN has adopted an additional 112 resolutions against Israel. That’s 285 resolutions condemning Israel. 285!

No other country comes anywhere close. Only 25 have been adopted against Iran, a nation that hangs homosexuals from cranes, a nation that beats, rapes, and imprisons women for not properly covering their hair.

Only 40 have been adopted against Russia, a regime that nightmarishly poisons political opponents with Novichok and Polonium-210 and regularly defenestrates citizens it deems problematic. Remember Alexander Navalny? Sent to die in the Siberian gulag system. And Russia is guilty of continuing barbaric attacks on Ukrainian civilians in its latest unprovoked invasion, not to mention the kidnapping of nearly 20,000 Ukrainian children.

Not a single resolution condemning China has ever been adopted, the nation that brutally occupies Tibet and persecutes Uyghur Muslims, having imprisoned more than a million, with many subjected to torture, forced sterilization, and worse.

But it’s more than condemnations. It’s also the abhorrent conduct of the UN’s special refugee agency for Palestinians. For decades, UNRWA ran schools that indoctrinated young Palestinian children in hatred and lies about Israel. Worse still, UNRWA schools glorified martyrdom, teaching children that the purpose of their lives was to die killing Jews.

And it’s the disgraceful refusal of UN Women to acknowledge Hamas’ use of rape as a weapon of terror on October 7, despite overwhelming evidence. It took until December 1 (55 days later) for UN Women to explicitly condemn the rape of Israeli women and girls and, even then, only after significant public outcry.

We demand an end to this biased, hateful treatment by the United Nations!

THIRD, we demand equal treatment by Western political leaders.

There has never been a point in this nearly two-year war when liberal leaders across the West were not demanding that Israel stop defending itself against Hamas. Yes, defending. Because the attacks by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other Islamist militias never stopped. Because the public statements by Hamas that it would perpetrate another October 7 and another and another never stopped. Because Hamas continues to hold Israelis hostage in its dungeons, torturing, raping, and starving them. But somehow it’s Israel that Western leaders repeatedly demand must stop fighting.

What do we hear from these same liberal Western leaders about Sudan, where 12.3 million people have been displaced, more than 150,000 killed, and some 700,000 children face severe acute malnutrition? Or Syria, where 13 million have been forcibly displaced, more than 650,000 killed, and over 400,000 face severe acute malnutrition? Or Yemen, where 4.5 million have been displaced, more than 150,000 have been killed, and over 500,000 children face severe acute malnutrition?

These tragedies dwarf even the wildly exaggerated lies about the numbers of Palestinians killed or starved. But it’s only Israel that draws the constant condemnations of liberal Western leaders.

As Islamist forces persecute, enslave, torture, rape, and murder religious and ethnic minorities like the Druze, Yezidi, Ahmadis, Zoroastrians, Baluchis, Azeris, Baha’is, Hazaras, and even Hindus and Christians, these political leaders have nothing to say.

But whenever the latest blood libel is cooked up against Israel, they have plenty to say! Is it any wonder when their synagogues burn, Jews are ambushed and beaten in their cities, and even children are raped for the crime of being Jewish?

This has to stop!

FOURTH, we demand equal treatment under the law.

No more biased, political attacks by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.

No more charges of “starvation as a weapon” in a war where no one has starved! No more charges and arrest warrants where no legal authority to do so exists! The ICC has no jurisdiction over citizens of non-signatory states, and Israel is not a signatory to the 1998 Rome Statute that established the ICC. As such, the ICC has no authority whatsoever over Israelis.

No more charges of genocide when the accusers themselves acknowledge that what’s occurring is not genocide.

“By legally intervening in South Africa’s case, Ireland will be asking the ICJ to broaden its interpretation of what constitutes the commission of genocide by a State.” – Irish Foreign Minister Micheal Martin, December 2024

Accusing Israel of genocide is a repulsive inversion of reality, as noted by seven former US federal prosecutors of the perpetrators of a real genocide, the one committed by the Nazis in World War II.

And why is it that the world seeks to relitigate only Israel’s right to exist? Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, like Israel, all came into existence in the 1940s as once massive empires disintegrated or retreated. The same occurred in many other regions across the world at the same time or within the next 10 years and for the same reasons.

Lebanon was delineated by the French to favor a Christian majority – much as Israel was established as the Jewish homeland. Why is Lebanon’s legal right to exist never questioned? And what of Pakistan’s 1947 partition from British India? That explicitly religious division, separating Muslims and Hindus, produced displacement, suffering, and bloodshed on a scale far greater than anything seen in the Middle East – yet Pakistan’s legitimacy is never challenged.

But you don’t even know about that, do you?

FIFTH, we demand equal protections for our children in your schools.

Our children, like other children, must be protected from bullying, physical intimidation, and assaults in their grade schools and universities.

They are entitled to equal protection!

Read those headlines. Is that how children should be treated?

Unequal enforcement of rules based on race or ethnicity violates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. And the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment requires public universities to apply their rules equally to all individuals.

No more unequal application of your policies, rules, and obligations under the law!

At the University of Michigan, all charges against anti-Israel protesters arrested in 2024 for trespassing and resisting police were dropped. At University of Texas Austin, charges were dismissed against all 79 people arrested during anti-Israel protests on campus.

No enforcement. Just complicity and expedience.

Wake up! Politicians, educators, and school administrators who tolerate the bullying and persecution of our children based on their religious or ethnic identity cannot be trusted with your children either!

SIXTH, we demand equal rights to display our identity and our faith.

Jews are targeted across the West just for the crime of being Jewish. We are assaulted on the streets, in restaurants, and in other public spaces. Why are our kippahs smacked off our heads when no such thing is done to people of any other religion? Not the kufis of Muslims. Not the turbans of Sikhs. Only Jews.

Is any other group actually told to hide their identity? Is that the right solution? Just pretend you’re not a Jew?

And zero tolerance if we dare sing in Hebrew! It so infuriated Spanish Transport Minister Óscar Puente that he referred to this group of French Jewish teenagers as "Israeli brats," despite their French nationality.

No other group of people is subjected to this treatment, and we demand it stop!

Equal treatment. Equal protections. For Jews. Think for a second about the fact that we need to demand this. It is shameful. And even more so because it is the Jewish people who have long stood up for and helped others when they were discriminated against.

Who stood side-by-side with Martin Luther King, Jr., during the civil rights era in the United States? Rabbi Joachim Prinz gave a rousing speech at the event, just before Dr. King gave his historic “I Have a Dream” speech.

The list is long. Stanley Levison was a close friend and advisor to Dr. King. Rabbi Abraham Heschel and Jack Greenberg marched right alongside John Lewis and Dr. King in Selma. Julius Rosenwald, Lillian Wald, Rabbi Emil Hirsch, Stephen Wise, and Henry Moskowitz, along with black civil rights icons W. E. B. Du Bois, Ida Wells-Barnett, and Mary Church Terrell, established the NAACP.

Julius Rosenwald worked together with Booker T. Washington to improve Southern black education. And Jews accounted for more than half the volunteers in Mississippi who challenged Jim Crow laws during Freedom Summer.

Jewish lawyers within the NAACP, such as Jack Greenberg (who succeeded Thurgood Marshall as the head of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund), played critical roles in landmark cases like Brown v. Board of Education, which declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional.

Look these people up!

In the Middle East today, it is only Israel that protects minorities, like the Druze in Syria. And in all of the Middle East, it is only Israel that offers the individual rights and freedoms that protect its religious and ethnic minority citizens – Muslim and Christian Arabs, Druze, Circassians, Armenians, Samaritans, and Baha’is. In all of the Middle East, it is only Israel that protects the rights of LGBT+ citizens. In all of the Middle East, it is only Israel that is a democracy. In all of the Middle East, it is only Israel that Freedom House designates as Free.

Learn about the people you have so ignorantly demonized and persecuted!

SEVENTH, let us be!

Our final demand is that you end your sick obsession with us. Stop putting us at the finish line of every conspiracy theory. We did not kill JFK. Nor were we the cause of World War I or World War II. We were not behind 9/11. And we do not control the world banking system or the media or the weather. We never used the blood of Christian babies to bake our matzah. We did not betray Martin Luther or Mohammed, and we did not murder Jesus.

Stop focusing on us. Obsessing 24/7 about every event that involves Israel while ignoring the countless tragedies that dwarf the scale of your baseless accusations against Israel is just sick. If you truly care about justice, why aren’t you passionately committed to ending the suffering in Yemen or Sudan or Syria or the ethnic cleansings perpetrated by Muslims against Christians in Africa and against Christians, Druze, Yezidi, and others in the Middle East? What about the relentless targeting of civilians by Russia in Ukraine or the oppression of the Uyghurs in China? Does the violence, famine, and disease in Haiti not interest you? What about the suffering in Myanmar or the Democratic Republic of the Congo? The list goes on and on, but you don’t care about any of that.

All we want is to live our lives in peace. We don’t bother others. In all the conflicts involving Israel, it was never Israel who started a war. Not one. We know you’ve never seen a Jewish missionary. That’s because there aren’t any. And apostasy isn’t a crime in Judaism, the way it is in Islam. If a Jew doesn’t want to be a Jew anymore, whatever. That’s his decision.

Look at every one of the protest marches across the West since October 7. Pro-Israel demonstrators carry two flags – the flag of the country they are in and the Israeli flag. And they march peacefully. Anti-Israel demonstrators carry many flags – the Palestinian flag but, invariably, they also carry the flags of terrorist groups like ISIS, Hezbollah, and Hamas. They don’t carry the flag of the country they are in; they burn it. They chant for the death of Jews. Anti-Israel demonstrators violently clash with police, and they vandalize your cities and campuses.

Enough!
